DAOplomats Delegate Thread

DAOplomats Delegation Platform

Background:

DAOplomats is a crypto-native organisation offering governance-as-a-service. We specialize in enhancing DAO efficiency through comprehensive treasury management, strategic grants programs, and impactful community-building efforts. We focus on enabling DAOs to reach their full potential by driving collaboration, fostering engagement, and maximizing outcomes for the entire ecosystem.

Involvement:

As a trusted partner, we have been working with 1inch, Gitcoin, Everclear, and BanklessDAO on governance, tokenomics, grants, and community building. We are also professional delegates of DeFi platforms like Uniswap, Aave, Compound,Paraswap and Lido DAO, including Layer 2 ecosystems like Arbitrium, Optimism and ZKsync.

We aim to participate actively in the discussions and provide regular updates on how we have voted here on the Forum and our Notion. We are among the few delegates in the EVM ecosystem who maintain a transparent voting history that the public can audit.

[SIP #5] Enable Transferability of the SUP Token
Voted: For, to align SUP with standard DAO tokens, enhance utility, and encourage broader participation through unrestricted transfers

Why did this SIP get so badly defeated? We need some kind of liquidity to encourage more participation on a global scale. Perhaps the community could use this proposal as a general outline and tweak it as necessary until we gain majority support. For more clarity and transparency, some constructive feedback would go a long way to help create a new proposal with appropriate changes implemented to benefit the community as a whole. Please run with your idea @DAOplomats and let’s find some middle ground to implement a proposal like this!

Why YES
:white_check_mark: DAOplomats are professional, experienced, and transparent
:white_check_mark: Their track record across Lido, Gitcoin, Aave, and now Superfluid speaks for itself
:white_check_mark: They actively report on voting decisions and align with long-term growth and public good values
:white_check_mark: They save time – great for builders, creators, and streamers who can’t follow every proposal

Why NOT
:warning: You give up direct control over your votes
:warning: Their direction might sometimes diverge from your personal vision
:warning: If their engagement drops, your vote is inactive
:warning: They might not always represent smaller or niche use cases

Conclusion:
If you’re here to build, earn, and stream without diving into governance full-time – DAOplomats are a strong choice.
But if you want to shape the DAO directly, you might prefer to vote yourself.

I will vote YES.
They’ve earned the trust – let’s see how they help shape Superfluid DAO. :fire:

As my active delegate for the SuperFluid DAO, I was excited when I saw you had a website posted here on the forum. However, upon clicking on the provided link to explore the site, I’m wondering (and hoping) if the site is currently being developed and in some beta phase or something bc for the most part, it’s not functional in any real manner. The main homepage doesn’t even show active delegation for SuperFluid, but displays many other protocols indicating active delegation for those platforms (as seen in attached screenshot image). The dashboard link lands you on a 404 error page, which obviously is not functional…

Questions and hopes begin with wondering with hope if your website is currently under construction with plans to offer utility for your well layed out design, or was it a start to a proof of concept and been abandoned? In the old days many delegates offered incentives or shared their rewards for choosing your delegate, and some delegates deployed similar but more basic websites like yours where they could check on any earnings, and make changes to different variables if and when available, etc… The delegates who offered a free utility such as a website, they would almost always attract a large user base as a result…

Anyway, I found value in useful utilities like I saw on your website, and am hopeful you had plans to finish a website with such a great start and easy-to-navigate interface and design. Or is it possible there’s no longer enough legitimate data or reason to justify operating a website that requires such real time and resources while offering little to zero value considering the governing methodologies and general practices of the modern day DAO’s??

Lastly, have you ever considered or do you currently offer services for operating nodes or validating blocks to earn rewards as we have been seeing this method of network operation regain traction and popularity recently? Considering options like cloud computing services being readily available and affordable, along with the mechanics having been overhauled to be more “green” in an effort to maintain adoption and longevity, it would logically and theoretically seem to make for an easy transition utilizing your existing customer base for the possibility of a mutually beneficial venture with a fair probability of resulting in a successful, profitable option and added service to your current line of work. Having the ability and resources required to operate a node is proving to be a highly profitable operation on many of these networks, explaining their very competitive nature, often requiring many of the necessities you already possess. Would love to hear your thoughts if you can make it thru my inability to keep anything short and sweet. Apologies for misspelled words and grammatical errors, but I’ve run out of time to proofread before posting. Tomorrow’s a new day!
