Description:
This campaign connects Superfluid with fun, collectible NFTs. Users mint an NFT, and based on its hidden rarity, they unlock a stream of $SUP tokens. It’s a simple and exciting way to reward people for participating.
How it works:
Mint the NFT
– NFTs will be on Base or Zora
– Free or low cost (e.g. 0.001 ETH)
– Each NFT has a random rarity (Common to Legendary)
Discover your rarity
– After minting, users see what they got
– Rarity is shown visually or in the metadata
Activate the stream
– Users connect their wallet to a Superfluid dApp
– If they hold a valid NFT, they can start streaming SUP
– The rarer the NFT, the more SUP and the longer the stream
SUP rewards by rarity:
Common → 5 SUP over 7 days
Rare → 25 SUP over 14 days
Epic → 100 SUP over 30 days
Legendary → 500 SUP over the whole season
Goal:
Make streaming fun and easy to try. Encourage more people to use Superfluid by mixing rewards with collectibles and surprise.
I generally like this idea for several reasons. I believe the most benefit would primarily come from utilizing this campaign to attract and on-board more new users to the SuperFluid platform. In order to achieve and sustain longterm growth and prosperity I believe it’s vital to put the product directly into the hands of the masses, consequently causing the product to advertise itself by word-of-mouth from new enlightened users, while simultaneously finding an appropriate fair-market value derived from real-world utility and broad overall acceptance.
Initial investors, early adopters, and current SuperFluid users alike will all benefit in a proportionally equal manner with sustained user growth which will directly increase token value, making this beneficial for all.
I firmly believe current top priorities for this project should remain focused on SuperFluid Token transferability followed by new user on-boarding by utilizing simple, fun, and attractive incentives such as the proposal concept described above. Let’s make this promising project a longterm success and remain committed to united teamwork and development of the payment system of the future- SUPERFLUID!
Yes — the NFTs will be transferable/tradeable, but only before the stream is activated. Once a user chooses to activate the associated $SUP stream, the NFT becomes locked or is burned, depending on the final implementation. This allows for a secondary market where users can trade unopened “Mystery Stream” NFTs, especially the rarer ones.
Yes Fran, I’m familiar with labsforge and it would work in a similar way — but Mystery Streams bring an extra layer.
In addition to activating the SUP stream, the packs would be fully tradeable before activation.
We could also include bonus rewards like:
– unique NFTs,
– Discord roles,
– or even increased voting power in the DAO.
So it’s not just about randomness — it’s about combining utility, collectibility, and community engagement into one streamlined experience.
Hey @Papusiek111 , definetly an interesting idea are you planning or already have started to work on the project yourself? Either way I do have a few remarks,
I do see a potential issue with the current way the current SUP distribution works , it is quite hard to promise X amount of SUP per NFT pre-TTE , if the idea got some SUP allocation at this point, when the pools grow with more units in them the previous units get diluted , so the flow rates keep moving around
Also for the streams to be stopped after X amount of time it would require some automation to be set up which might start to get quite expensive in terms of gas so I would definetly sway away from the free mints
I like the idea of unique NFTs , and Discord roles I’d dig deeper into this for Labs Forge for sure.
And also a fun fact: Labs Forge packs are also tradable already
Thanks again for your feedback. I simplified the concept based on it and wanted to share a clear version of how this could work — simple, safe, and useful for Superfluid.
No dilution
– Each mint is based on a snapshot
– Fixed stream rate (e.g. 0.01–0.03 SUP/s)
– Very limited supply (e.g. 10 per type)
→ Users know exactly what they get, no changes later
No “STOP” button or gas needed
– After 30 days, the NFT loses its utility (role, XP, access)
– The stream can keep running, but gives no more benefits
– To continue, the user just needs to mint a new one
→ No automation, no extra cost
Box system
The idea is built around a “value tree” – the higher the branch, the more value:
Daily Box– random drop, low stream, no role
Quest Box – for completing a task, medium stream, role: Stream Runner
Referral Box – for inviting 3 friends, higher stream, role: Flow Spreader
Premium Boxes (ETH/USDC) – highest streams, collectible features
Each box lasts 30 days. After that, utility ends — but the user can earn or buy the next one.
Why it helps Superfluid
– Real usage of streams in a fun way
– No treasury cost
– Organic growth via quests and referrals
– Simple use case for Labs Forge
I’m attaching a visual showing how it could look on a website.
I’m not a developer, but I’d be happy to help with ideas, or a simple prototype.
This is just an early prototype — the whole thing can be expanded and adjusted to fit Superfluid’s concept in the best possible way and promote the project as strongly as possible.
