Overview

G$ is deployed as a native SuperToken on Celo, enabling programmable money and real-time streaming of value across the GoodDollar ecosystem.

Over the past seasons, GoodDollar has progressively expanded streaming infrastructure beyond simple token transfers into a broader ecosystem for builder funding, contributor coordination, ecosystem incentives, and community participation powered by Superfluid.

Today, the GoodDollar ecosystem already leverages Superfluid streaming capabilities across multiple initiatives — with more to come:

  • GoodBuilders — Our flagship builder program built together with Flow State. Instead of traditional one-time grants, funding is streamed continuously to builders in real time based on community participation, mentor voting, and ecosystem engagement. This creates a more dynamic and transparent funding environment while encouraging other ecosystems to experiment with streaming-based coordination. The streams over $50k USD in G$ per season.

  • Gardens — We are beginning to experiment with streaming pools and contributor coordination systems through Gardens to explore new ways teams, contributors, and communities can coordinate funding and participation transparently over time.

  • Public Goods Funding Streams (if approved by GoodDAO governance) — Upcoming ecosystem initiatives aim to explore how value generated through the GoodDollar Reserve can continuously flow not only into UBI distribution, but also into Public Goods, ecosystem growth, aligned communities, and builder initiatives through streaming infrastructure powered by G$ Superfluid and Flow State.

To date, GoodDollar has created over 5,010 Superfluid streams, with 734 currently active streams distributing approximately 20M G$ (~$2.3k USD/day) daily through Superfluid infrastructure.

GoodDollar streams have already transferred over 7.4B G$ onchain through Superfluid streams.

For Season 6, we want to continue expanding streaming-powered participation across the ecosystem while strengthening integrations with Flow State and Gardens.

We want to continue our dual incentive structure:

  • Community Participation

1. Builder Initiatives

A major focus for Season 6 will be the upcoming launch of GoodBuilders Season 4, launching mid-June.

SUP rewards would be used to incentivize meaningful participation across builder initiatives and ecosystem experiments powered by G$ streaming.
