Overview

G$ is deployed as a native SuperToken on Celo, making Superfluid a core part of how value moves across the GoodDollar ecosystem.

Across successive SPR seasons, GoodDollar has expanded its use of Superfluid across builder funding, community participation and ecosystem coordination.

Today, GoodDollar has created 5,400+ Superfluid streams, with 755 currently active and distributing approximately 12.1M G$ per day. More than 2.5B G$ has been streamed onchain through Superfluid.

GoodDollar is designed for broad participation, and we apply the same principle to our Superfluid campaigns. Users can participate through accessible actions such as claiming G$ and inviting verified users, alongside streaming, donations and larger ecosystem funding activity.

To reduce barriers to participation, GoodDollar also subsidizes Base gas fees for verified users claiming SUP rewards, covering at least one claim per verified user per month. Since February 2025, the campaign faucet has funded 797 unique wallets across 945 transactions, distributing approximately 0.012 ETH in gas subsidies.

This also supports the campaign journey we have been building across seasons: claim G$ → earn more G$ by inviting others → use G$ across the ecosystem → stream G$ → claim SUP rewards.

Building on Season 6

Season 6 launched later than originally expected, following the later rollout of GoodBuilders Season 4 and additional work to improve the campaign experience.

We introduced a dedicated GoodDollar × Superfluid campaign page, including a widget inside GoodWallet, bringing eligible actions and campaign progress into one place.

This created infrastructure that can now be reused and expanded in Season 7.

Season 7

For Season 7, we plan to continue the same two-part structure used in previous GoodDollar campaigns: Community Participation and Builder Initiatives, while expanding Superfluid into new GoodDollar use cases.

1. Community Participation

Season 6 currently rewards:

Claiming G$
Inviting verified users
Donating or streaming G$ to Gardens pools

These actions will continue through November 3 and roll directly into Season 7 from November 4, maintaining continuity without overlapping rewards.

2. Builder Initiatives

GoodBuilders Season 4 will conclude at the end of September, including incentives to vote and stream to participating builders.

GoodBuilders Season 5 is planned for Q4, and we would like to activate Season 7 incentives alongside the new round.

We also want to use Season 7 to expand Superfluid into new GoodDollar use cases.

One of these is AI Credits, a new integration with Antseed that allows users to use G$ to access AI services. Users can make a one-time G$ deposit or open a continuous G$ stream to receive AI credits, creating a practical use case for ongoing G$ streams.

The initial experience is developer-focused, but planned UI improvements will make it easier for regular GoodDollar users to access as well, opening the use case to a broader part of the GoodDollar community.

We are also continuing to explore other Superfluid-powered mechanisms across the GoodDollar ecosystem, including streaming-based public goods funding through GoodDAO governance. A previous governance proposal was not approved, but we expect a revised proposal to return to governance next quarter and would look to incorporate it if approved.

GoodDollar brings an established and diverse user base into the Superfluid ecosystem and creates multiple paths for users to move from receiving G$ to actively using streaming infrastructure.

Season 7 will focus on increasing meaningful Superfluid activity through Gardens, GoodBuilders and AI Credits, while continuing accessible onboarding actions such as claiming and inviting verified users.

This creates a broader participation funnel: users can enter through GoodDollar, then put G$ to work through streaming, ecosystem funding and real utility use cases, helping grow active streams, recurring flow volume and Superfluid usage across the GoodDollar ecosystem.
