Season 7 ideas - Established project - Gardens

Gardens deployed the long awaited Streaming Conviction Voting (SCV) live in production, flows to proposal beneficiaries as a continuous Superfluid stream that scales up and down with live conviction signal. For Season 7 we want to grow SCV as the default funding rail for the Superfluid ecosystem: recurring SUP streams to builders, governed bottom-up by the people closest to the work.

1. Project Name Gardens

2. Project Description Gardens is a community governance platform optimized for bottom-up decision-making. Communities create modular conviction voting pools tied to an enforceable Covenant to signal sentiment and allocate resources to the initiatives they care about. Streaming Conviction Voting (SCV) extends conviction voting with Superfluid: instead of a lump-sum grant on execution, beneficiaries receive a continuous money stream that grows with sustained conviction and tapers as support shifts. This keeps funding responsive, transparent, and always tied to live community signal.

4. Project readiness Live and in production. Gardens v2 is deployed across seven networks, and SCV has shipped and is running in production on Optimism. SUP Rewards distribution is ongoing.

5. How does this project benefit SUP holders?

  • Turns SUP into a recurring, streaming demand driver. SCV pools denominated in SUP create continuous onchain flows rather than one-off transfers, deepening active streaming volume.

  • Gives ecosystem builders low-friction access to small grants ($1k to 5k) without the overhead of a full SIP, so more of the DAO’s budget reaches active contributors faster.

  • Grows the base of wallets actively sending and receiving Superfluid streams, directly compounding the metrics the DAO cares about.

  • Provides a reusable, transparent funding primitive other Superfluid ecosystem projects can adopt for their own community allocations.

6. How does the project use Superfluid? Deep, native integration. SCV uses Superfluid money streams to pay proposal beneficiaries continuously, with stream rates driven by conviction levels read directly onchain. Distributions use SuperTokens, and the ongoing SUP Rewards program streams rewards to participants. Superfluid is the settlement layer for the core funding mechanism, not an add-on.

11. Networks Gnosis Chain, Optimism, Arbitrum, Base, Celo, Polygon, Ethereum Mainnet

12. SuperTokens used SUP (via SCV pools and the SUP Rewards program), plus SuperToken-wrapped governance and funding tokens on a per-pool basis. Β«TODO β€” confirm the specific SuperToken list you want to list here.Β»

13. Current Daily Active Users: ~50

14. Current Superfluid Volume: ~$10k/mo

15. Fee Structure Gardens is fully open source (GPL-3.0) and charges no protocol fee on funding allocations. Communities pay only network gas and the underlying Superfluid stream costs.

16. User Persona Community builders and DAO operators in regen, pop-up city, and ecosystem-growth contexts who need to make many small, context-specific funding decisions. Typical users run several purpose-built pools, each with its own voters and governance parameters, rather than routing every decision through a single high-overhead process.

17. KPIs

  • Number of active SCV pools streaming SUP to builders

  • Cumulative SUP streamed via SCV over the campaign

  • Number of unique builders funded (stream recipients)

  • Active streaming wallets created through Gardens

  • New communities and governance pools created

  • Total Value Flowed (TVF) through Gardens funding pools
