Yes I certainly agree with @BixbySnyder that Top 10 on SUP Leaderboard are like a staggering % of overall current distribution of SUP.
I came to Farcaster , Base blockchain , and Superfluid from 3 other main blockchains, and also a career in Applied Mathematics, Asset Management, and International School teaching. It has always helped to widen the base and encourage top influencers AND developers to share their skill and knowledge with the other 95%.
In this vein, I would like to propose to my Delegate @markcarey that there is also a cap (maximum %) that project leads or teams can take from the Season’s total allocation. I feel this would show more of an interest in growing the total Market Cap of these projects through engaging those who are not experts yet.
I am a SUP-earning participant in 10 campaigns in Superfluid Season 4.

With respect to project leads taking an allocation of SUP rewards, I think the common practice or recommendation is the project leads/founders take zero SUP rewards from the SPR allowance. While I can’t speak for other projects/teams, for Streme @zeni and I have excluded ourselves from earning any SPR rewards from all of our campaigns in past seasons, and will continue this policy in season 5.

Voting period has now ended for Season 5 - Campaign Selection Vote - Established Projects.
All 10 participants in the vote have passed the 3% threshold.
Season 5 token allocations for these projects are shown in the table below.
Campaigns for these will launch shortly, according to the project team preferences.

I am posting evidence of farming SUP XP here just as a record of various forms of low value extraction from teams allocation of SUP rewards per season, hoping that a productive discussion can evolve from it.
I posted on Farcaster and the Bet on Bangers @0xFran @awkquarian Telegram and I am no doubt going to hear all sorts of ideas / excuses / rationalizations / game theory. Well ok
Everyone has a right to speak on a sufficiently decentralised platform. Just one screenshot of the ideas of gamers/farmers on their Telegram.
I am open to all ideas and comments, but I have a hard time believing that this is the vision and use case for this Superfluid mini-apps. We want the mini-apps to be used for higher order thoughts and actions I would think, bringing lasting value to the ecosystem as a whole. Not to mention the DAO.

–> follow up to my last post regarding Season 4 and soon season 5 of SPR for Bet on Bangers campaign.
If I don’t take the time to make this note here, then I feel no one will do so. Bet on Bangers and @Fran | Superfluid and @aWkquarian had not updated the users of the financial betting app when the project changes from the original accepted proposal during an uncertain time when we could not use the data in the app since it was lost.
Currently the latest issue is that people reporting that SUP XP is no longer being rewarded for Season 4 Bet on Bangers, which already had been changed from the original proposal and incentive system due to developer error. In their telegram they are not addressing this concern, so I am noting it here

The mini-app stops working intermittently – therefore at these times there is no ability to see the interface to withdraw and swap for the altered incentive campaign

Streaks were messed up due to errors made by the team, and we were not informed
(from all that users can see the data in the app was not indexing properly from historical transactions) -
there was a previous silence that occurred too when we could not play the game with the right points being awarded for streaks accumulated and earned
Does Superfluid understand how this app works?
You make financial commitments based on the data that you have accumulated and transacted. Having access to this information is key to managing ever-changing risk and reward.It was impossible to follow that data when the mini-app data fizzed out. (not a technical term) It would be great if users were privy to this technical information so we also could operate on a level playing field with those decentralized devs and support team
Once again, I do not like making these posts, but it seems that there is absolutely no dialogue or follow up when problems occur and subsequently users experience downtime, lack of access to stored data, and financial loss due to no incompetence of their own. @markcarey

This is in part a reaction to @richieboston’s posts here and elsewhere, and in part a reflection on various communications in the Banger tg as well as in the Superfluid discord… Any missing context can be found in those places.
Also, I first posted this reply in the Superfluid discord, then copied it here, as advised.

It appears that the social media and marketing lead of Superfluid Labs, @awkquarian, no longer holds this position as of the end of March. This coincides with what seems to be a definitive (?) decision to discontinue the development of Banger, for which awkquarian has so far been the public spokesperson.
If it is known, it would be good to communicate who will take on both of these roles going forward, I think.
And if it is not known yet, stating that - along with any public details on the process and what is going on (or not) - could go a long way.
I do not necessarily agree with the way @richieboston expresses his criticism, and I tend to think that anyone who chooses to rely too heavily on the performance of a betting app should take a hard look at themselves before anything else…
BUT I think he is absolutely right that - from a user perspective - the communication around Banger has been less than ideal.
And I also agree that members of Superfluid (the Dao) should be asking serious questions around the distribution of Sup allocated to Banger.
It is obviously inadequate to say that the distribution will continue ‘as usual’ for the rest of S4 - when clearly the betting mechanism has been disabled, a new mechanism around trading $banger has been hinted at rather than actually explained, and at least some users (I’m one of them) currently have no access to this reward mechanism or even just any remaining funds in our Banger vaults.
(As has been explained in the Banger tg, the vaults of these users are not loading. And, to be fair, inaccessible vaults should be a worry to any Superfluid user). (*)
Meanwhile, someone clearly does have access to that trading and, subsequently, Banger’s Sup rewards. Who?
Also, what will happen to the S5 funds that have been allocated to Banger? Do they go back to the Superfluid treasury? (It would have been really nice if the concerns around the profitability of Banger had been surfaced here before the Dao voted on the allocations for S5, but, well… I guess that is what it is now.)
I think these questions are fair.
I’m not being critical to point fingers or start conspiracy theories. On the contrary. I think situations like this are the best times to see clearly how well a project runs, and how substantial it is.

*UPDATE: A few hours after posting this, the banger mini app was back up, able to load my vault so I could withdraw. I think the debate is still relevant, but I wanted to note this so as to not spread unnecessary FUD.

What will happen to the S5 funds that have been allocated to Banger? Do they go back to the Superfluid treasury?
Yes that’s correct.
Banger Season 5 campaign will not launch.
SUP allocations for any campaign which does not launch during the Season will remain with the DAO and return to the DAO Treasury.

Update on New Project Campaigns:
The New Projects Campaigns budget of 2,000,000 SUP for Season 5 has been allocated to the following projects, based on recommendation by the Ecosystem Steering Group.
- Markee - 1,040,000 SUP (campaign is live)
- TYSM - 590,000 SUP (campaign is live)
- Kreators - 370,000 SUP
Other eligible new projects that were not ready for launch yet this season, will be considered for future seasons.
