Season 1 Ecosystem Campaigns to distribute SUP token through SPR (Streaming Programmatic Rewards) started in February.

So far, over 30,000 Reserve holders, have received 35 million SUP, by engaging with 7 ecosystem campaigns.

Season 1 impact

Rationale for selecting the Season 1 campaigns and their SUP allocations looked at the biggest apps and experiences available in the Superfluid ecosystem and proxies to protocol benefit such as:

  • depth of engagement and integration with the protocol
  • upselling/cross-selling/revshare potential for the protocol
  • average usage of the protocol per user and
  • number of users of the app

A key question in assessing Season 1’s impact is: how did each campaign lead users to try out more apps?

SPR dashboard

Superfluid Foundation data team has developed the SPR Dashboard V1 on Dune.
The dashboard is a work-in-progress and will be improved based on feedback and data availability.
This first version includes these metrics for each campaign:

  • Unique Claimers - wallets that claimed SUP
  • SUP claimed since start of campaign
  • Source-claimers - how many users were introduced to SPR by each campaign
  • Cross-claimers - claimed from more than one app
  • Inbound Cross-claimers - measures engagement of each campaign with users introduced by other campaigns
  • Outbound Cross-claimers - measures the extent to which the users introduced by each campaign engaged with other campaigns

With 3 weeks left until Season 1 ends, here are a few observations from the SPR dashboard:

  • All campaigns had Cross-claimers.
  • SuperBoring had the highest Inbound Cross-claimers, followed by Donations and AlfaFrens.
  • Payments had the highest average SUP claimed followed by AlfaFrens
  • Community campaign had the highest number of Unique Claimers.

Season 2 is scheduled to kick off on 20th May.

Community members are invited to suggest ecosystem apps and projects for inclusion in Season 2.

Hello! Thanks for providing the Dune for analytics and kickstarting the season 2 discussion.

I have a few questions:

  • Will season 2 have the same parameters as season 1? (amount distributed, length, etc)
  • Do we have more insight into each protocol? Will they provide any report showing the impact of Season 1?
  • Will those apps need to reapply for season 2?
  • Do we already have new apps in the pipeline for season 2?

Great questions @jameskbh

  • Season 2 parameters - Season 2 will not necessarily have the same parameters as Season 1. As things stand, ProtoDAO is still in effect until end of Season 1 and they can come up with a proposal for Season 2 considering the Season 1 impact data and Season 2 pitches.
  • Insight on each Season 1 campaign - Foundation ecosystem team is requesting those from each Season 1 campaign lead and expect to see them here shortly.
  • Will Season 1 apps need to reapply to Season 2? There is no automatic inclusion in Season 2 so yes, campaigns should pitch for inclusion in each Season.
  • Is there a pipeline of apps for Season 2 - Yes, Foundation ecosystem team is in conversation with a number of apps and can update on those in due course.
